bleau & moppet's wedding

mood:
woke up yesterday morning to the sound of nympha belting out yet again "the name game" in all her grandeur. she also sang it five times over. yes, i counted. i guess it was the perfectionist in her.
she finished a whole cd of 80s songs before moving on to disney themes, it seemed. she was singing "part of your world" and "beauty and the beast" and "reflections". oddly enough, it wasn't visions of princes and princesses that came to mind as she sang. by the time she started singing "someday my prince will come", i knew i had to get out of bed.
anyhoo, spent the afternoon prepping myself to go to the wedding of schmuck's highschool friends, bleau & moppet. pretty cool how they got married "on the 10th day of the 10th month of their 10th year".
it was a christian wedding and it was held at garden 1 of fernwood. i've never been there before (call me a fernwood virgin) so i was pretty excited to go, even if it's like a gazillion miles from where we live. ok, so that was an exaggeration. a gazillion miles will probably take me to pluto, not fernwood. my point is, it's far.
the wedding was beautiful! her motiff was fuschia & turquoise blue, and i loved the play of colors. i soooo loved the gowns!
the reception was quite something. since the bride and groom owned something like a talent booking agency or something, so many artists performed. guys like ayen & franco laurel, the retrospect band, jimmy bondoc, etc. i would've loved to have stayed, but as usual, my anti social hubby-to-be wanted to go home already. we left at 9pm and the party was still ongoing. i even heard that nina and paolo santos were also going to be performing. hu-wow.
oh, and yes. i cried. again. as usual.
